irradiation aka patricia enigl kommt zwar aus wien, aber mit dem typischen wiener kaffeehaus-lounge-sound hat sie so gut wie gar nichts zu tun. viel zu ungemütlich und zerhackt ist ihre musik, aber genau das ist es, was sie so spannend macht. komplexe rhythmussstrukturen, digitale störgeräusche. wummernde subbässe und samples undefinierbarer herkunft ergeben in summe einen einzigartigen groove, aus dem man mal reingekippt, so schnell nicht mehr auftauchen möchte.
